ANN ARBOR, MI – MRII is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Henning, PRC as Executive Director of the Institute, effective January 1, 2019. “Jeffrey Henning brings a broad understanding of current trends in the market research industry and the challenges they present to market research educators. MRII is fortunate to have an industry leader with such a wealth of experience help us with our important mission,” said Jon Last, immediate past president and search-committee chair.
MRII is a non-profit educational institute devoted to fulfilling the essential educational needs of people worldwide in the marketing research profession. MRII provides a family of online courses in cooperation with the University of Georgia.
Jeffrey Henning has been active in the research industry for over 30 years and is an acknowledged and trusted expert in quantitative market research. Jeffrey is a member of the Insights Association and AAPOR. In 2012, he was the inaugural winner of the MRA’s Impact award, which “recognizes an industry professional…that has demonstrated tremendous vision, leadership, and innovation…that has led to advances in the marketing research profession.” A serial entrepreneur, Jeffrey co-founded Perseus Development Corporation in 1993, which introduced the first web-survey software, and Vovici in 2006, which pioneered enterprise-feedback management. In 2012, he founded Researchscape International, which provides highly automated survey research with a personal touch. He has been a member of the MRII board of directors since January, 2015.

Jeffrey takes over from Reg Baker, who is retiring December 31.
